Photographer’s Note
The New Hope, PA skyline dominates this view from Lambertville, NJ. All right, so there are no skyscrapers to look at, nor is there a big city to even look at, but the view at sunset is most pleasant with the quaint old buildings that dot the shores of the Delaware River in New Hope.
Both towns date their origins back to the 18th Century and were home to one of the many ferry crossings along the shores of the Delaware River. Eventually the ferry crossings were replaced by covered wooden bridges, which were replaced by iron bridges like the one in the picture. The one you're looking at celebrated its 100th birthday in 2003.

Hello Linda,
This is a lovely representation of a small PA town. The calmness of the river and the yellow colors create a peaceful feeling. I also like the way the bare tree branches compliment the steel of the bridge. The branches also look nice snaking across the top of the frame.
