| the tube stopped life for a while in udaipur... unfortunately i can't remember what was on - happy that no one (well, almost no one, one out of five is great in india :-)...) noticed me, i was too engulfed composing and capturing the scene -, perhaps the cricket world cup, election news, a soap opera... by the time they all noticed me the signal was interrupted and the puzzling message "bush" appeared on the screen... that i distinctly remember (perhaps some local telecom experts can explain)... i stuck around for a while, but the signal never came back and life and the haircut resumed... |

This is a great daily life shot Mark. The way everyone is watching TV is very interesting. I like the way you captured their faces in the mirror. I like seeing the clock too. For some reason clocks always make a photograph more interesting to me. Really well done.
Regards,
Ryan
Not bas at all, Mark - the mirror trick, though on th subtle side, is nice and the tones are just how "we" like them on the yello-greenish side. But, buddy there's a few too many turned backs here for my absolute liking...
A little moer turning our way would have lifted this decent shot somuch higher...
Best,
Francis

I like this one quite well Mark. I like how almost all eyes are looking at the screen and I really like how the reflection in the mirror helps to emphasize that. A good exposure in the situation, but I can't help but wish their was less noise in the darker guys' faces. I am mixed as to whether I like the fact that the one guy is looking at you or if I wish he was looking at the tube like everyone else.
Bush would be the name of the manufacturer (of the TV).
