Photographer’s Note

Every morning the monks walk the streets collecting their food for the day.

This lady is giving them some rice... someone else will (hopefully) have got something else for them

The monks queue up patiently and when the food is finished they quietly move on - without a word being said.

Most of the monks were barefoot which is a added hardship for them as you can see how cold it was from the steam coming off the rice

Hello Paul. A beautiful picture from the everyday life of the monks in Myanmar. Very beautifully. From the topic of monks one could make a whole series. Best regards, Wolfgang.
