..your story..love to listen the stories, especially when the narrator is charming;)..(it's not my case)
well,in this evening tell you a real story, not about this couple..hm,about Stefan Popa Popas who is a famous Romanian caricaturist, holding a Guiness World Record for being the fastest drawer; In 1995,he realized 2772 of caricatures,in just ten days...More than 200 President of states have the caricatures from him;on this street,is a bar(these yellow walls) where you can find few of his caricatures.
Happy Birthday,dear Genius!

and Happy Birthday for you, dear Eagle!

Nice scenery, i like the colours.

Hello Florentina,
Very nice daily scene in an old environment. This couple is concentrated on its intimate conversation and does not pay attention to the history of these old walls.
Have a good week end

Hej Flor!
Like your story, I do make cartoons but not so many and not in the streets ( even if I'v done it) but dont think i'v done halfs as may in my whole life time.
The picture!? also seems yo be a story in it self maybe they telling stories to each other, or maybe the grafitti is made of someone who also dream of a Guinnes World record, anyway I found a nice contrast between yhe old facades and the tags

Salut Florentina
This composition is special with all those graffiti on the old buildings. The street with the lone couple looks very moody. The contrast between the painted walls and the broken walls is impressive. Thanks for the view of a Romanian street which i am nowadays more interested with.
Namaste from India

Hi Dr.Florentina.

Listening is a gift..and that ,if it's from a dear person, it's really lovable.
With all the colourfull, yet noisy background, those can listen and hear, then this frame should be a blessed one..and I really believe this.

Composed wide, exposing the entire space is the plus point here. Even if the central subject lies in a low light, the depth in their revelation within the frame is best, best , best.. !!!

SALUTES, for this share.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Florentina
Good daily life scene with thee people sitting on the massive bench and a colorful BG of the houses. Nice POV and framing, fine sharpness.
Have a nice day
Laurent

Hi Florentina,

I wonder what they're saying? Are they speaking words of love or words of reconciliation? Either way they are the centre of attention in this street of graffiti. The colours are wonderfully faded and the light is good too. A great note and a fine capture, well seen.

Regards

Stephen

How did I miss this entry of yours?!?!?! Olá Flory, loved your story and love your picture of the couple on this historic place. Stories, stories, they entertain us and fill our soul, make us think about things and enjoy life with much more pleasure. One can say that it's a pitty to see those walls, but I love them. And they sure were inspired by your genious 'gemini' caricaturist. Spontaneous street art can give much carather and atmosphere to the city. That couple on the stone throne also has a story for sure...another story that problably has nothing to do with caricatures :)
All the best,
ricardo

Hi Flory - a vaery attractive and colorful backdrop to this intimate moment, given the dilapitated state of the building, the graffiti is not distracting.

Ciao Flory,
Where did you get the idea you're not a charming narrator ?
The photo fits well to the story and I like the somewhat decayed textures of this urban environment all around, framing wise I find it a bit wide with the people small as a result, you might want to try a closer crop from the original it could look better.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hello Flory,
Nice story for sure. Not only for that you mentioned to your note! The scenery well captured,is so wonderful to my eyes. Most of all for the graffiti on the wall and the vivid colours to the old buildings. The couple adding the nice moment and the life.I like it very much!

Bonsoir Florentina
les façades colorées apportent un joli fond à ce couple en pleine discussion. J'aime beaucoup cette photo et ton cadrage large en fait presque une photo "volée". Bravo.

Hello Flrentina!
This is lovely photo!
Amazing scene with this young couple and the old and colourfull houses in the back.
Best regards!

Hi Flory
Sorry for late, long time no see,
I m in holiday at moment and had no time :(
You had couple of posts in this time, will be back soon
Very good compo , you just capture the right time right place

TFS/Kind regards

Hello Florentina,
I like the point of view and the attractive lines!
The worn out buildings add a special atmosphere, but the couple seems to be uninfluenced as they are in their own world...
Well composed image, telling a cute little story!

Hello florentina,
nice perspective shot of this wayfarer with the old houses on the right. The young pair,i believe that is found in his own world seating on this strange stone table. The think that the plate that hanging in the wall of house with the yellow walls says Popas.A good composition with nice colours and light.
Regards,danos

Hi florentina
This is a wonderfull composition. The colors of the houses are beautifull, the perspective is nice but you had an interesting human touch
Excellent

Szia Flory,
greatly framed and composed shot of a very effective diagonal perspective. Everything is well placed and I like that you avoided to include also the sky. Perfectly exposed with nice and well saturated colours.
Very well done, my friend! Tfs and have a nice afternoon.
Attila

Can't make up my mind whether you should have cropped the left and kepted the background all red. The red gives it a great mood. Anyway thats just my thoughts on what is a beatiful image in the first place

Simon

The photo is great and very actual, with those graffittis on the walls and the couple sitting face to face on a sort of concrete (or stone ?) bench in an European city... It is a beautiful composition, I am just asking myself about your celebrated caricaturist, as I never heard of him - will look on the net one of those days !
TFS,
Cath.

Bonjour Florentina,

Belle image colorée, jolie scène.

Hi dear Flory,

Hi Florentina. Strong human element in this shot. There is something intense going on here judging by the body language. Your PoV which centers the two, gives the scene greater impact. They are close enough to see but not to hear. The fact that they are alone works ell to. Well done. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi, Florentina.
Very colored scene, here...
I like this kind of loneliness of the couple.
Best regards. Grazyna.

Indeed, having those graffitti on a wall next to a Popa's gallery is somewhat ironic, therefore funny. To me, anyway :) I like how you caught the couple in a what looks like a sharing moment. The evening background (I judge that by the colours) helps with the mood. I wish the people were slightly sharper, but I guess it's the internet posting to be blamed. The upper and lower black frame really suits the image (not sure if it's yours or TE's...). A lovely image!

Hi Flory,
great story...
You captured nice scene with lovely composition. There is not too much light in the front but the picture still has good depth. I like the atmosphere here.

Hi Florentina,

a nice scene, I like these old walls.
Beautiful colors and good position of the people.

Hi Florentina. Ah, teenage hormones at work ;). Excellent photo. Well composed with excellent perspective and fine detail. Well captured and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

This is a fabulous image, Flory - just the sort of street scenes I like to take myself. I have one very small suggestion to make, and that would be to crop away the bicycles on the left because they distract the eye a little from your two subjects on the stone bench. That would also have the effect of putting them all ittle more off-centre which would balance the image nicely. But still a great shot even as it is. Cheers . . . David

Hello Flory,
I like the story and the picture of this couple talking, loving each others. What I like the most is the backdrop they have for their meeting. Surely not the most romantic one, but it shows that love can be seen anywhere.
I would like a closer shot with those graffiti as a backdrop.
Have a nice day,
Marc

Great composition even if it lacks a bit of sharpness... The walls are just beautiful in this composition and the couple seem to feel well nearby. Nice daily life instant. Tibo

Interesting notes Florentina. Grafetti can look awful but some of it in England has been sold for £100,000 by an artist known only as Banksey. In fact the other week an 18 year old was sent to prison for his 'artwork' on the British Rail. Like the sombre mood.
