Almost all Maltese buildings are made of yellowish stone available locally. Here's an exception.
New buildings rising at the entrance of Marsamxett Harbour. Hotels, time share apartments, who knows.

What I see here is too much construction on such a small island. Will the developers transform Malta in a cube of concrete?

Good capture here from what we call expansion drift. Who knows what they gonna build here, but at this moment it looks terrible, but once it's been finnised it will look much better.....we hope.

This is so stark and yet attractive in its own right

Not my loved Malta of your serie but an interesting image and idea, compliments Kari, great light and colors and nice repetitive square holes.

I would prefer to call this DESTRUCTION not cubism. The photo shows clearly the uncontrolled construction in Malta destroying its unique landscape.

Your perfect framing and detail almost gives the sense of a minature set-piece. I feel like I could reach out and manipulate those cranes with my fingers. It does seem like there is increasing homogeneity in the world. HLJ, Pat

I would agree with Stefano and Cyril about this "Destraction". It is sad to see everywhere in the world become "Tokyo"!
However, I think your shot is interesting and informative. Thanks for sharing!

An interesting and informative view, I like the graphism here - I wonder how this will look like when completed,

very good idea to choose this title for this image.
Well taken shot from the right POV.
What a pity these cubes for that beach!
