Photographer’s Note
Santa Cruz, Bathala Caves..
the property owners of the Bathala Caves have a nice setting behind the mountains, covered with your typical Philippine Landscape of Green tropical fauna.
This "hut" is built of Bamboo, Coco-lumber (Coconut tree) and parts of the Coconut tree and bamboo.. These guys where lucky, as the mountainside which is their source of income through ricefields and tourism (due to the Bathala Caves) protected them from Typhoon reming, which practically destroyed everything in it's path.
This area is what you see when you come to climb through the bathala caves, it is located off of Santa Cruz, East of Torijjos.
Only edit's to the photo would be the cropping, and a little softening.. Nothing too sharp to spoil the natural feeling.
Cheers, good to be back on TE. this is the first post for ages!
Mabuhay!

Hello Thomas,
It is amazing how green the rain forest can be!
You capture well the essence of the scenery, the life of a family in the middle of the jungle...
Well composed, interesting details!
