Photographer’s Note
This shot was taken just off the Dehra Dun - Paonta Sahib road, about twenty kilometres from Dehra Dun. If ones gets off the road and goes a distance of about two kms, one gets to a dried riverbed, from where the views of the sunsets are lovely. The dried tree in the foreground is what attracted me to compose this shot. However, after a gap of three months I went there again only to note with sadness that some one had chopped off this tree. The only saving grace is that atleast I have it recorded on this photo. This particular evening the sky was magnificent and nature was in its full glory.

Hi Rajiv,
I just wonder why the size of this shot is so small. You are permitted to upload till 200KB and you must make full use of it.The greater size should have done much more justice to this beautiful sunset capture. The dark bottom is excellent contrast to the wonderful sky colours.Excellent details and patterns of the sky and also nice use of the silhoutte of the lonely tree.I just request you to upload it again on greater size man.
Greetings,
Dhurjati
