Photographer’s Note
This blossoming poppy and the bud on the right seem to me like a parent (the bud) and a child (the poppy) where the child is slowly maturing towards the bud. You can see the core of the child aready losing its hair (?) as a next step towards becoming a bud.
The structure of the poppy looks like paper.
Cropping and levels were postprocessed.

Interesting photo!
It's obvious that its best quality is softness of reds on the bed of fresh green. Also, the poppie's petal structure ads to the feeling of tenderness of that vulnerable flower.
