Photographer’s Note

when said 'grass!!',everybody look at me!
now,attention,don't move..k,perfectly!you can go now..:))
no doubt,the animals love to make pictures;)
these animals had inspired a well known dance in my country,called'The Goat Dance',which is very often associated with a vast'Goast Procession'.
The goat games involves the masked man and the train of musicians.
The folk practice of mask games seem to descend from the ancient Dyonisiac festivals;

Florentina this image is sharp and clear. The rustic, country theme is well acquired as the man and his sheep

aaah countryside Romania, I like it, a nice grou you caught here filling well the frame from left to right, the light is interesting and oblique which hints for a morning scene. Do you eat goat cheese in your country also ?

Ha,ha,ha, very funny and enjoyable picture of this big family and shepherd smilling at you. They really seem like posing to you. I also tried some similar photos in Alentejo, but I wasn't so successful, since they kept moving and din't care about my camera. Love the rural environment and the panoramic format is perfect. That goat dance must be quite fun.

Haha, Florentina, so lovely, the goats and the man! Why grass, you could have said, "goat cheese" ;-) too.
The panoramic format fits the subject excellently. I so long to be in a village like that, totally pure and quiet except probably the mixed melody given out by the voices of some drunken people at night, and the geese cocks, and dogs...

In my ride to Romania I visited also Satu Mare, that was exactly on the froteer I passed coming from Ungary.
