Photographer’s Note

In the Saint-Eustache church, in the district of the Halles, a low imposing relief, coloured, splendid surprises you...
It acts of the "Departure of the fruit and vegetables" of Mason. It recalls to the visitors the past of this district. The markets of Baltart were destroyed in 1969... and replaced a few years later by the Forum of the Halles.

The church of Saint-Eustache was built of 1532 to 1640. Single in its kind, its plan is that of a Gothic cathedral, while its decoration is Renaissance.
Saint-Eustache church is regarded as one of the most beautiful religious monuments of Paris.
