This is a fine TE shot depicting a scene in daily life in this region of Africa. The composition is fine with the man's colorful short and the reddish bottom of the cow on the right eye catching, but the frame is too heavy for my taste and the image could use a bit more contrast. I did a workshop making those two changes for your consideration. I also resized the image to make it larger. Since you are working off slides or prints you may not have as much freedom as those who work with digital images, but you images will present better if they approach the maximum permissible size on this site, which is 800 pixels maximum in either dimension. Très belle photo. j'aime beaucoup la tonalité chaude et le mouvement du troupeau. il y a juste ce qu'il faut comme poussière. La définition est excellente.

Beautiful shot! The warm orange light and long-casting shadows fit very well with my perception of Africa. And the way you framed the shot is very good too with the herdsman positioned on the left hand side and the herd occupying most of the space. However, I would probably try to crop the the bull on the man's left hand side as it adds nothing to the composition. Good job overall!

Welcome to TE, that's a very promising first posting Anthony, very much documentary oriented with nice warm lateral lighting.

The sharpness maybe slightly off but I also have the same problem whenever I use the same Kodak Gold neg film... :D...

I don't know exactly why but this photo is very good. Perhaps the light, or the very good colors (wonderful tones) or dynamic or the point of view, well anyway it makes me wish to be where the photographer was at this moment.

Dit is zeer mooi van warme kleuren en een beeld van dagelijks leven in een goede compositie gebracht. Ik hou erg veel van zulke informatieve fotografie van andere culturen.
