Stockholm is beautiful.
Anyone knows what is the purpose the "X" signs on the wall created for? |

Very nice picture! The building reminds me of the ones on the Gold Street (Zlata Ulichka) in Prague. Great composition.
Yes, I agree that Stockholm is beautiful - as a matter of fact it's one of the nicest cities in Europe.
I like how you've captured the reflection of the house in the window and I love the orange colour of the wall. However, the picture seems a bit crowded with too many details like, for instance, the door (but I understand that you wanted to preserve the x-shaped sign on the wall). I would also probably try to crop the picture a bit tighter on the left hand side. A nice try overall!
Nice reflection, nice colors, nice exposure. Cheer!

Very good capture of an architectural detail such is this orange wall with a door and window.
Must be uncomfortable sitting on these chairs because of the steep street, but I'd like to try & see what it feels like.
Well seen reflection that gives some life to the main subject (or is the main subject the reflection?). ;-D
Thanks for sharing, Chai! Many other good photos in your gallery!
The X-sign is the end of the iron which a beam that support the floor in the building is fasten. I don't know the english word. You can walk around in Stockholm and date the buildings by look at the design of this irons. Just around the corner of where this picture is taken, there is a list of irons and the time period of the design in a window of a shop.
