Photographer’s Note
This shows how mountain terrain can dictate weather patterns locally. This is one shot that I cropped to give a panoramic perspective. I really like how there are two weather conditions in one shot.
I have discovered time lapse photography with my D200. Playing with the settings, you can capture amazing things that nature provides. From the same POV I set up to snap off a shot every 10 seconds for 100 shots. Obviously you see the weather moving in and changing clouds made it pretty amazing to watch. If you have the feature play with it.

Hello Ross,
I do like the horizontal crop here, and the rich colors of the green mountains and the blue skies and water. I like your capture of the contrasting weather from one side to the other. TFS.
