A peaceful evening in Crikvenica.
On the horizon you can see the Island of Krk.
To our surprise at about 3am the noise of Bura (very strong wind reaching 200 km/h) woke us up. It blows from land to the sea, as a result the next day the highest part of the motorway was closed. This kind of wind is typical of winter season, when it can last up to two weeks. It's quite unusual in May, then it didn't last more that 1-2 days. |
