A glorious morning Photo

Photographer’s Note

A photograph taken on the Dehra Dun - Mohand road while passing through the Siwalik Hills. These hills are composed of sedimentary rocks and are of low altitude but abound in forests of tall Sal trees. Consequently one gets to have the light filtering through the trees. This is my first posting on TE; I hope it meets the standard set. Would be grateful for comments. Thanks.

Welcome to trekearth.
The colors and the filtering light is lovely as well as the composition. However, the photo is a bit small and also could be sharper.
Could you tell use more about the horses? Are they wild?

Very pretty light with the rays shining through. Nicely composed with the framing of the tree and that shadow from the middle. Well written note, too. Would just loved to have seen it at the 800 pixels Trekearth allows. Again, welcome! Thanks for sharing,

Hi Rajiv,
Its worthy of a first post Rajiv, but could have been better had the size of the photo been large, 200 KB max according to TE norms.
The POV is nice and so is the colours.Nice capture of the sunrays peeping through the leaves.Have you used a yellow filtre here?it seems so.

A very warm welcome to you in this family of Trek Earth..!! A very beautiful shot to open the gallery..the golden colours with the animals grazing make it a perfect morning shot..!!

I see that you are using a top of the class Digi cam aand I can assure you you can take lovely photographs and actually give us all a visual treat...Posting pic in TE has some basic norms which you can go thru...the presentation is one part of it..along with the max and minimum sizes..I am giving a Workshop on this snap of yours to enhance on what I am telling you..!!

Une très belle photo pour commencer ta galerie. Les couleurs sont superbes et ces rayons de soleil donnent une atmosphère très particulière à ce paysage serein. Dommage que le format de l'image soit si petit!

The photo is wonderful concerning composition, light and colors. However, you should try to post photos of larger size ... for better visibility.
