Jolie photo. J'aime bien le traitement noir & blanc et c'est une bonne idée d'avoir laissé un peu de grain. Par contre je trouve que ça manque un peu de netteté sur la ligne de crête.

The exposure emphasizes texture of the sand .. the contrast between ground and sky .. the starkness of the place ... wonderful image.

A nicely done take on a common subject, Emmanuel. Usually such shots are done with sharp focus from foreground to infinity, but the slight blur in the distance serves to put more attention on the blades of grass struggling to grow. Nice exposure making the individual grains of sand visible in the foreground, and the dark sky adds mood. Well done! Regards, Ken.

Hello Emmanuel! Isn't it amazing what grows out of the sand, and you really wonder how come, how is this possible, there is nothing, where is the water but obviously a little sprinkle does its own work. This is really nicely seen and what I absolutely like most is your sky work. For me it looks like paint and reminds me when I do some paint work on my house and when I mix the colors, this is how it looks. The slight blur is really cool, I like it! Barbara.
