Hi Jerzy ,
A wonderful shot. The person with is dog in the boat gives a nice feeling of friendship.The fog adds wonderful effect here. Nice minimalistic way of representing.

This is so dreamlike, really like travelling through a fantasy... the BW makes the tones come out perfectly. The composition of the boat is excellent, you could not have chosen a better spot for it within the image. A big favorite of mine!

BTW is that a dog and a man? :)

Wow! I can imagine how ethereal the atmosphere was like, when you shot it! Good atmospheric shot!

The tonal range however suffers, I feel. I mean there needs to be more contrast to bring out the difference between the mistified trees in the background and the mist. Also, I don't know what focal lenght you used to get this shot. Maybe if you used a powerful tele lens, the boatman and his dog could have been 'pulled'closer to the foreground...most importantly, if possible, please work on the tonal range. it's got the potential to be a better photograph than it is now, i feel.

Hi Jerzy,
I have noticed your attraction for landscapes covered by mist. You extract the most beautiful moments of light from them. This one I like it for the quietness that provokes its contemplation. The mist fusing with the water just allowing us to perceive very subtly the presence of a forest in the background... and the little boat with the man and the dog penetrating that space. Beautiful!
