Very good colours and interesting frame, I like the composition side by side on a wooden background.

THe wood and stone textues are very well presented thanks to the excellent light. Good shot, Jeppe.

A fine still life with a lot of information built in. You found a good background in the wood and the diagonal arrangement is fine too.
One reason for finding flintstone tools in Denmark might be the simple one that there is a lot of raw flintstone to be found there so it is a natural material for the Danes, or was at least. Even I have some Danish flinstone as decoration in my windows.

Parfaite composition phéhistorique, la texture des matériaux est bien mise en évidence par la netteté de l'image.

A very good presentation of these stone tools that have a very interesting texture (and still look quite sharp). The strong brown color and the slightly glossy finish of the trunk on which the tools are placed enhances this greatly. Well done, Jeppe.

Great presentation Jeppe, excellent wood structure, lights and stone tools details, Fred Flinston was a Danish - certainly ;-)

Very nice compostion with wonderfully saturated colors in the wood so finely split by age, contrasting the neutral stone tools that cast those narrow shadows. This is a fine addition to the Scavenger Hunt Jeppe, well done. As you can imagine, I'm going to need to turn to the natural world for something over two hundred years old. There certainly isn't a building in this part of America that is so old, except perhaps some Spanish mission churches. But I have a redwood tree in mind that just might do it.

Interesting details placed on the best 'surface' - the fine old tree. Crisp and well presented details on all items included. A good job Jeppe
Very nice, the knife looks like flint, the bigger scraper I'm not sure. Right out of "Earth's Children" by Jean Auel! I like the wood as well. Did you remember to count 2 rings a year?

Thanks for sharing with us a piece of history.
A simple shot but very educational. Technically, there really is nothing to rave about but some "lessons" are ought to be that...straight to the point.:)

Nice picture. I like the contrast between the tools and the wood in the back, the forms, the colours.
Well done Jeppe.

Hi Jeppe, Great to see these sort of things on TE, especially with a humerous writeup. Good POV. Informative and fun, best way to learn.
