Photographer’s Note

This is one of the first photos taken with my first digital cam, a Mustek 3500, it was taken at Armação de Pêra, Algarve, Portugal. The sun had already gone but the sky was with this great colors and I try my shut. I´m putting here this photo so you can give me some advices and sugesttions for my futurs photos, tell me about the colors and if you thing it would help make some workshop. Thanks...

Esta foi uma das primeiras fotos que tirei com a minha primeira máquina digital, uma Mustek 3500, foi tirada em Armação de Pêra, Algarve, Portugal. O sol já tinha desaparecido mas a sua luz continuava a reflectir-se nas nuvens o que lhes dava estas cores alaranjadas. Eu estou a colocar aqui esta foto pra voçês poderem fazer os vossos comentários e criticas para me ajudarem a fotografar melhor, se acharem que um workshop podia ajudar em alguma coisa arrisquem e ensinem-me mais. IMHO, the hardest part about photographing sunsets is being in the right place at the right time with your camera.

The only two guidelines I can give is first, keep the horizon off-center. Usually the bottom third of the picture works best. This you did.

Second, include some foreground object, especially a silhouette that's not too large. This you didn't do. I'll grant that this second guideline is harder to follow than the first.

Still, you did get some pretty colors.
