Nice composition, very sharp picture considering the speed of the car

You should try panning the next time. The problem with this shot is that it conveys no sense of motion at all - for all we know the car could be standing still.

Nice shot! I think I might have preferred a slightly lower angle and a little more zoom to make the car a stronger element - nonetheless this is what Germany is all about :-)

Yeah, I wish there was more speed in the photo, but nice nonetheless. Love those Porsche cars!

As others have said, this location and subject have great potential that has been missed here.
If you are lucky enough to get back to the 'Ring; try the quick pan technique a few times on a lesser sped car (like a Peugeot), so that when the Turbo comes around again you've got the technique practiced. Being digital you have luxury of being able to review the results.
Not much slower than 1/60 or 1/100 should give a good effect.

The S curve looks good here, if it were a river in a scenic shot, it would be great. However, I have to agree with those who say this shot does not do a great job of conveying speed. A longer shutter opening would have given some blur as well, and therefore been helpful if you were not in a position to pan. This is a good shot, but I do feel it is a shame to rob a Porsche of its speed.
