Photographer’s Note
Carnarvon Gorge is a wonderful place on the highlands of Central Queensland. The main walk up the gorge is about 20kms but in the first half there are many side canyons, each of them different unique and very beautiful. The area is full of Aboriginal history which can be seen in the rock art and carvings.
While hiking in one of the side canyons off the main gorge we followed this small stream. In one spot I noticed the coloured lichen on the rock.
I've reposted with enhanced colours.

Nice collage of contrasting colors...The greenery adds a little reality to an otherwise abtract presentation...A good first post...TFS
