shining through bright yellow-tinged leaves
reflecting the end of another day
this contentment

I hear the city's voice
singing its own music
winding down the people
this wonder

I smell the cool brisk wind
spreading out its arms
enveloping us in its hug
this completeness
I am...

I feel the ground under my feet
vibrating with nature's rhythm
giving us its strength to face a new day
this reverence
I am...

The beauty of nature whispers
carassing my very soul
like the still-warm sunshine on my back
these moments alone
I am...
I am one with God.

This is another shot from my Aichi Expo trip 2 years ago. As the day came winding to an end, I found myself facing this scene as I looked up from where I stood. Transfixed because of such beauty, it took a moment before I was able to put out my camera to take this shot. I has goosebumps on my arm as I pondered the thought of how small a role we had in this drama called LIFE... but without that small role each of us human participates in, the woven tapestry of LIFE is not complete.

I wonder if the man in the silhouette dreams as well...
