Here you have another panorama, another première for me, as I had never done one with more than three shots and this one is composed of seven. This landscape seems to ask loudly for panoramas, with all its expanse and I didn't resist that appeal.

This was shot very near the place of my greatest hit (:-), which lies about 500 meters to the left this pov.

Those dark stripes on the top and on the bottom are just an artifice to make the height fitting the minimum of 250 pixels imposed by TE.

Contrarily to what many people think, Alentejo isn't that plenty of truly planes like this one, it's is much more about low hills and large smooth valleys, and there are many places where you can find more steep hills whose tops easily are 200 meters higher than the valleys. This place isn't an true exception, as one doesn't have to go farther than a few Kms to find hills and even one or two mounts surpassing 1000 meters. Maybe you can understand what I am trying to say by looking at some other photos posted here in TE: Ferreira, Castro Verde and Serpa, by adores; Benavila (i, ii), Avis (i, ii), by riclopes; Pé da Serra (i, ii), by myself.

Location (latitude, longitude): 39.45667,-7.48720

Ola Jose, estamos fazendo experiencias semelhantes.
Abracos, Peter

Hi José

Wonderful panorama. You have really captured the sense of vastness. Love how as we leave the road at the left we seem to fall back into a distant time as we reach that fence line.

take care,

John

Hi Jose,
A beautiful panoramic of this landcsape. I like the road on the side of the shot and the animals grazing in the distance. Nice depth and details.

Wanda

Super panorama shot Jose. Great POV. The sky is perhaps a tiny bit overexposed on the left hand side but still a wonderful shot.
cheers, Leon

Olá José,
thanks for this possibility of a walk. Perfect for a trip in the nature, even from far Germany. Good colours, sharpness and contrasts. The composition with the road left the cows in between and the houses give good spots for the eye. Especially the left part with the road and the fence would be also good for an own one.

ricardo

Thanks for sharing,

The clarity and sharpness in the large version are first rate, although it does show up the oe in the sky (left) that is not quite so evident in the main post. You are getting very proficient with the more technical side of PP. Well done

Very good panoramic image with an informative note. I forgot about the minimum 250 pixels height. The actual aspect ratio in your image is a whopping 5.37. When I double-clicked on this image, I saw the blown up version, which is also very effective in its own right.
Good package, as usual,
Bulent

Merhaba Jose, my friend...
It's a very successful panoramic composition...
The point of view and the perspective are wonderful... Also wonderful light, details and colors... Congratulations...
TFS...
Stay well..
Salim.

Jose,

I love these large fotos. They are excellent for showing great detail, which you have done here. I am going to have to learn to do one. As you say this expanse begs to have it's foto taken. As I have come to expect from your fotos this one has excellent sharpness, colors and composition.

Well done,
Rob

Paulo
