Photographer’s Note
On the North side of the Creux-du-Van, a large rocky bowl carved in the mountain of Boudry, weather conditions can be hard on trees, as this photo shows.
The way this tree has twisted also shows how strongly it is attached to the stony ground.

I like this 'rugged' capture! Your shot shows great composition, detail and sharpness. It is amazing that the tree could survive aftre such violent treatment!
