Photographer’s Note
As i was walking on Varna seashore yesterday i heard a bunch of kids making a hell of a noise. I got closer and i saw that they were playing this game called Tug o’ war (easier said: Rope pulling). There were a lot of teams and each of them was taking the game very seriously. As you can see there is also a referee there.
The origins of tug of war are not clearly known. But there is evidence that tug of war was practiced in ancient China and Egypt
There is also a Tug of War European Championship which will be held in England-Minehead in September this year.
