Photographer’s Note
The Potsdamer Platz in Berlin used to be the former minefield and "death zone" between East and West Germany. When The Wall fell, architects like Helmut Jahn had a lot of empty space to work with and they did their best.
This is a shot of the roof of the Sony Center. It looks good at day time, but it sure looks great at night. Cafes and Restaurants line the plaza, there are stores, offices and movie theaters.
