Photographer's Note

I would like to show you severals pictures I made in a zoo. Animals are there as in a prison and it's what I choose to show you.
I've not finished my work. I would like to make other pictures with same theme but with people in their town.

Bela foto tanto na composição que dá a impressão real de prisão a que o elefante está submetido quanto na execução, ótima nitidez e texturas, boa escolha pelo NB.

C'est toujours trés émouvant que de voir la détresse des animaux. Elle se raproche de celle des jeunes enfants par la simplicité des gestes qui la l'accompagne. Le choix du noir et blanc est bien adpaté ici pour l'émotion qui sans dégage.
J'ai publié aussi un théme sur les animaux du zoo de Barcelone.

A great image but sad too! I like the textures and details which have been brought out nicely by the black and white. Well seen and composed.

Photo poignante, émouvante.
Je me réjouis de voir la suite ici et je trouve très bonne votre idée d'étendre votre série à l'espèce humaine.
La différence avec les animaux est que l'homme s'enferme volontairement ...

Hello Francoise,
for the first I want to congratulate you for this capture. POV, sharpness and contrast are as well done as the decision to present it in b/w.

The second point is the theme. I hate zoos. For me it´s a waste to mother earth to imprison wildlife just to exhibit it for silly humans.
