Photographer’s Note
The same pond I presented in "Tree reflection", again a reflection, but this time from a citizen. She's called the "Laughing frog". The colours can be green or brown. The catch was quite difficult. The camera was only a few centimeters over the water, I had to set digital zoom on and they were a lot of reeds. Camera was at about 1m of the frog, and the focal length here is a 300mm equiv. Picture is cropped top and right. You can hear it at Laughing frog

Wow Carlos,
Great shot, good reflexion, good colours, I know how differcult it is to make such a photo. Great composition too, maybe a little bit overlight on the head of the fog, but that the moment, great job.

I think that this is quite a good macro, being shot from 1 m from the frog, Carlos! :-) Wonderful water reflection, together with the lovely green colours and the frog's skin texture is really great here. I like that part where it looks as if silver, because of the falling light. Very well done!

Wow the first shot on TE with audio back up, Carlos! I love it. The picture of this partly submerged frog looks very mysterious due to the reflections and the translucence of the water. The colour is great and the shadow patterns on the water adds a nice tension. Very fine work!

Hi Carlos, I have the luaghing frog laughing in the background, they can drive you crazy, do you know that?
very good capture, especially with the digital zoom. Mine's always came out so very noisy. I like the light on her back. The green of the water is very intense, and the reflection is great! I expect you got wet yourself, too?;-)

I try to avoid using digital zoom by all means, but here I have to commend you on the great result you got, Carlos. Very good how the curious eyes of the Seefrosch stand out almost 3D, and the reflection increases the effect. Nice, very green composition. The link to the sound is great, too - well done!

Very neat capture. The frog really seems to be just coming out to check on what's going on. It has a stalking feel, too. The textures here are great and the reflection, too. And very nice greens and yellows mixing up here. Great job.

Quite unexpected shot from you, Carlos, but that shows that you are a versatile photographer as I said earlier. You did really "freeze" the moment because the frog and the ripples are sharp. At the bottom left, are those the reflections of tree branches from above of did you actually captured some details under the water?
