Looking up at the Petronas Twin Towers in central Kuala Lumpur is almost hypnotic. I just cannot get enough of these structures. This is a night shot hand held but resting an elbow on a parked car for some extra stability.

Quite a feat handholding in dark hours, even with support. Impressive structure whose presence is emphasized by cool lighting. The blue halo around the top of the towers is interesting. Would be nice to see the same photo taken during the blue hour.

That is a wonderful one of the Petronas towers as well!! I've just been there two days ago! No pictures of the towers this time, but I also was there three weeks ago and made a session at night on the towers as well. Funny that when comparing yours with mine, it are just entirely different towers and that mainly due to the whitebalance choosen!! But I like yours as well hahaha ;-).

une architecture très impressionnante de ces tours et une belle gestion des lumières. J'aime bien le côté futuriste de la photo. Beau travail

The image is very well exposed and with rich colours in the architecture...

This is turly one of the finest images I've seen of the Petronas Towers. There is a luminous quality in the lighting that you have captured, and it is extremely well defined -- as sharp as a razor. How did you manage this without a tripod?
In 2000 I was in Johor Bahru to give some lectures, and my hosts took me briefly to Kuala Lumpur where I saw these magnificent modern edifices. The resemble giant corn cobs. When I wrote my book, 'Math and the Mona Lisa' (about the intersection of art, science and mathematics), I pointed out the remarkable occurence of the Fibonacci Numbers: the various courses, from the top to bottom exhibit ratios in successive lengths of 1, 2, 3, 5, 8,...

Hi Murray, this is a fabulous night shot of the Twin Towers. Reading your note I'm very surprised you got the clarity you got. It turned out very well, very sharp for the conditions.

I seem to remember you having another shot of these buildings but in the day....anyway....this night shot is amazing....I bet looking up at it at night can give a person vertigo! Beautifully composed, and the clarity is just perfect with your elbow being your tripod...hee hee!

Murray, je ne sais ce qu'il faut le plus admirer de l'architecture ou de la photo qui la met si bien en valeur. La photo de nuit isole et embellit le sujet.

Wow what a nice "hand held shot". Great architecture, I know why you like it so much.
Greetings and my best compliments, Piotr Angiel
