This is an interesting, daily life shot. I like the way you have composed it with the shop assistant in the foreground well to the left and the line of the counter leading the eye into the frame. He looks so very Thai (as opposed to Thai Chinese, like the others) and his bleached hair and spiky hairstyle are so typical of the present fashion among the kids. The Towkey sitting and watching in background is well caught; as is his dad and his wife further back. It's all so typically Chinese, down to the pink wrapping paper that gives it a lively colour note. The details in the back of the shop, which most people might have put into bokey, by using a narrowed DoF, is not too distracting , because of the subdued light there. The flash, was, I suppose, necessary and doesn't intrude too much: there are no harsh shadows, but the assistant's face has some small burnt out areas from the flash, that I might have just taken out in PP. I’m not sure that the focus is on him either (did you use auto focus?) The sharpest point of focus seems to be to the right of his face. Thus, his face seems to be, just a little soft. However, you have caught a very typical moment in a Chinese medicine shop and it is a very enjoyable picture. Congratulations. Kevin
