[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken during my summer trip to Denmark. The place is called Løveparken Givskud ( = Lion Park). It is part Zoo part safari park.
The gorilla was behind a glass in a shady place. I used ISO 400 to get a satisfactory speed and a circular polarizer to reduce the flare.
Even though the conditions of the Park where excellent you can see that some animals where not meant to be behind bars.
They say a picture is worth a 1000 words. A look like that ?

Hi Alexandros,

Welcome to TE.

your photo really strikes me! What a look of the gorilla. Amazing. The shadow/light contrast are great and B&W makes your image and look even stronger. Keep on sharing

Great portrait with an amazing glance. It's not commun to get one like this. Great moment associated by a good B&W treatment.
Well done,
Cheers,
Jean-Claude

This surely is a good one, Alexandros. I like the B&W choice in this one, the look on gorilla's face is even stronger. I guess, you're right, this animals shouldn't be behind bars...

Hi Alexandros
Hard to believe this taken in Denmark - but then again - I haven't been to the Lion Park of Givskud for yes.
A fine and special pose - no words needed here.
Thanks for sharing.
Jeppe
