Photographer’s Note

Taken during a walk around the island "Kungsholmen" meaning The King's Isle.
I passed by this container and couldn't resist isolating a detail of it. I let the present colours form a composition, and played with the fact that this container had various elements that could give depth to an otherwise rather flat image.

All suggestions or critiques are welcome ofcourse!

The typical kind of graphism that I like.
Simple, colorful, perfectly composed, just great.

My eye tells me it wants more of the container to the left of the G. Despite the bright colors the plate with two bolts at the center remains the most prominent element. I think it would work better if the plate were off center to the right. I try to give my eye what it wants, but I understand no one else is obliged to do so. ;-)

I love the colors and very much appreciate your identifying this as a possible image and capturing it so well. Nice shot.

Yes, very simple and colorful shot. Wouldn´t work so well without the plate fastened with two bolts – smart title... I like this image very much.

I don't usually like this type of photos, but I like this one - not even sure why... Probably the colors, but I think the composition is good as well.

Edwin, the simplicity and stark colours make this a very special picture. I would've left out the white line in the frame, it destracts from the punchy colours. A black frame only would do imho. Still love it though.
Any idea what the GF stands for? :)

Ha, before opening the thumbnail I thought this is graffiti, Edwin! :-)) Wonderful detail with lovley colours and great texture. I like the close up of the container and the way you composed it. Excellent job and very sharp eye to capture it! ;-)

Wonderful, Edwinn. Love the graphism and the colors as well as the simplicity of the composition. I wonder what they meant by GF - maybe Go Forward, or maybe Games Free, but I can say Great foto (photo).
