Photographer’s Note

This is the Point Bonita Lighthouse at the very edge of the San Francisco Bay in the Marin Headlands. This photo was shot the same day as my shots "Sea Change" and "Man and Earth". A thunderstorm had just passed and brought all of these clouds passing by.

hello joe,very dramatic composition with that angry sky,i like the atmosphere here and the POV,it`s as if the lighthouse was the only memory of sun there.

Hi Joe. Wonderful wild place you show us with this image. That sky is the perfect crown for this moody image and imparts much drama. Well balanced composition with good diagonals and leading lines. I love the subtle colours adding to the mood. Thanks for sharing.
