Hi Mark -Not many cities where you can go to a fantastic beach and have hardly any people there.

I really like the foreground very sharp and this seems to be where the best focus in the shot is; my eye keeps getting drawn to the sand dunes but they are off focus; there is also something in the wave (black dot - most likely seaweed). I would have maybe given up on including Observation City and framed down and to the left to get the tube of the wave in the top right rule of thirds intersection and captured more of the curved shoreline on the left and all of the water on the left.

I think you have really captured the moment with the wave break and all that energy.
