Photographer's Note

If you spend some time in Burgundy, after having visited few cellars you absolutely need to go and visit Beaune and its hospice where the famous wine charity auction takes place each year.

This wealthy town displays many magnificient buildings with these kind of lovely roofs made of decorative tiles which were strongly inspired of the Northern Europe architecture called Burgundian-flemish Art.

I first came back to the Hospice at the end of the afternoon but the loveliest part of the roofs was already in the shadows so I came back the next morning and to my relief the light was there as expected.

Original framing, I applied a light USM.
