Jeepneys are a popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. They were originally made from US military jeeps left over from World War II and are well known for their flamboyant decoration and crowded seating. They have also become a symbol of Philippine culture.

lovely those old chevy buses of the americans ! i like the colours and all the garages in the back-it makes me miss seasia so much !

i know this scene well, and your note is important. I did see the influence of americana in philipens, i rode those jeepneyes for 2 weeks they are more of an aquired taste you learn to love them. wel done and great color
