Photographer’s Note

This is a 4 month old Nile Crocolie. This picture was taken at a Crocodile Farm i Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. I got to hold that one as well. Nothing has been done to this picture, except resize for web use.

The adult Nile Crocodile can reach up to about 5m (16ft) and weigh up to 900kg(2000lb). They have a bite equal to 3000psi. In the wild it is estimated to live for almost 100 years, in captivity the oldest one is 56 years.

So now the photos are starting to roll in.
This is a nice first one from Zimbabwe, composition is ok but if possible I would have attempted a slightly different POV.
Maybe not even the POV but rather a different approach to photo finish.
I'd like to make a workshop, but I won't have time until tomorrow eveing.

Hei Joakim,

I must say that you might be wrong. I think that this baby is fairly cute, but I have a hard time seeing most people saying. "Oh, look at that cute crock..."
That beeing sayed, this is a very nice photo of this tiny animal. I like the detail in the skin and the eye seems to be smiling at the camera...
