Photographer’s Note
thats how we travel!! to work, to holidays, to anywhere in the country!! and thats how tough life is in india. u need to be really acrobatic to hang on to the bars on the door or windows, but thats just a part of it. the real struggle is to get ur foot or a part of it set somewhere so that u can hang on!! this is probably the last of this series on tracks for now. will keep posting other things

Hi Sabyasachi,
You have taken a great picture of daily life in Indian railway. Especially in Bihar, this is a common scene. Very perfect POV and composition.

Hi Sabyasachi.Nice shot of the daily life with people hanging from locomotives risking their lives. But now this is typical to the place/state where you took this shot. I was a party to such crowd only once when I travelled in my defiant youth to see Paus Mela in Shantiniketan. Thanks for rekindling the sweet and sour memories! Regards.

Sabya..
This is a fantastic exposure of Indian rail journey... Years back, when I was in Delhi, i witnessed the crowd so thick in trains and roads.. This is a new image ...And, India is so populated..you reflect that too here...
congrats for this..

And they bitch in my country when they may have to stand for a few stops. Nothing much changes in India I see. Great photo of transportation, reminds me of my trip back from Kashmir. Good one

Hi Sabyasachi,
I love your series on trains and this one is really special. I'd be happy to see more (also the inside of those trains), this is really what TE is about !
I'll add this to my theme, if you don't mind...

Hi Sabyasachi,
I was surprised to see the passengers getting on on the roof of the bus when traveling around India in this summer, You captured confusion any more well by using telephoto lens.
It is interesting that the signal is quite the same as Japan.
Have a nice day,
Hisashi

Hello Sabyaschi,
very interesting shot from India showing us daily life in your country.I think here in Europ it will not to be possible to make trains circulate under this dangerous conditions for the passengers.Thank you for sharing.
With regards from Luxembourg
