Je trouve que tu as trouvé une vue très atypique et très inhabituelle de cette ville de Venise ! Ce noir et blanc rend cette scène hors-d'age et l'absence de touristes donne un impression de solitude assez rare à Venise !

Hi Cessy. It does appear very peaceful right then and I assume it gets a lot busier than that. I like the amount of contrast you have in the b/w conversion. The bendy leading line does a great job of taking our eyes through the picture. tfs Cessy.

The B&W conferes a good mood and enhances the feeling of calmness. That single person walking in front of the camera, leading around the curve is a great compositional element. A diferent view of this hype city.

Oh, Cessy, I like the silence that can be heard in this image. It is not an exceptional scene photography wise, but I recognize myself fully in it, in the sense it is the kind of photograph I would have taken myself. Very frequently. A kind of shy and discrete view on loneliness that can be seen around each corner of any city, any horizon line above the ocean, any path into a deep forest. That man is me, and it seems the photographer is me also. Hence, I'd say this is not a photograph, but a mirror.

An excellent composition with this curved street and the man going up the street at a very quiet time in the early morning. Black and white works very well here, a very good choice.
