Photographer’s Note
This is a mosaic that greets the visitor as he/she climbs up the stairs at the Liverpool Football Club Museum. It is dedicated to the 96 football fans that lost their lives on April 15th 1989 in Sheffield (Hillsborough) for no good cause. This past weekend was the 18th anniversary of this horrific event and I thought it would appropriate to commemorate it posting this photo here. The Hellenic Liverpool FC Supporters Club has held a memorial mass last Saturday to denote that none of them is forgotten!

Always a special place to visit, especially since there are new trophies almost every year.
Hillsborough will always be a strong memory for Liverpool fans, and I still remember watching the scenes unfold on TV.
Good detail and a very nice photo.
