The local "Booderee" National Park endured a huge bush fire 6 months ago. The ferns are slowly returning. The bush walks pass through a very strange alien looking landscape.
No desaturation in background!!! This is real ;)

Great contrast between black/gray bushes/trees and the green foreground. And the tall black tree is like a modern statue...
I would crop out those green leaves on the left.

Subject well of topicality...
We have pass to the south of France one of worst be (2003), forest, dwelling and human life one undergoes with losses irreplaceable.
Striking down fires which one disfigured natural and human consciences.
Excellent clearness and returned color, beautiful example of D70.

Nature is a wonderful thing , it attempt to repair damage to its self. Lovely contrast between the fresh greens and the ash greys of the burnt timber.

Dead and dying above on the canopy but the forest floor is green and growing.Birth of the phoenix sort of.
