Photographer’s Note
The city of Townsville is very proud of the parklands & walkways of The Strand, which runs along the foreshore of Cleveland Bay. A favourite place to walk, picnic, swim or just enjoy the tropical climate.
The structure on the left is a wind generator which supplies power for some of the lighting along the way.
