Photographer’s Note
On May 29th was held the Montreal Women’s World Cup Cycling on the Mont-Royal. It's a 100 km. race made of 12 laps and ending with a 1,7 km. climb. This shot was taken at the bottom of the final climb and the winner, Genevieve Jeanson is the girl at the extreme right. It was my first experience to photography close and very rapid subjects. Very demanding with a digital camera that requires time to focus, meter light and store the picture. Hope you enjoy this first trial.

A very fine action shot, full of life and, well yes - action. The strongest thing in this is the fighting faces of the girls. The slight tilt from going into the curve is good for the picture, it enhances the action.
I would like it a bit sharper and harder cropped, I made a WS for you.
