This picture was taken just over the border, on Dutch territory in the middle of a polder (Clarapolder) which is situated between the Belgian neighbourhood Maagd van Gent, belonging to the town Watervliet, and the Dutch neighbourhood Pyramide, belonging to the town of Biervliet. This polder was won from the sea already in the 16th century I believe. The small creek in the foreground is mostly dry in summer but as you can see in winter, full of water.

That evening back in November last year, the sky looked spectacular and I hurried to get out to snap some pictures of this breathtaking scenery.
