Photographer’s Note
Here you will find the typical steep 'trail' on your hike to the top of Cerro Chato. The ruts here are waist to knee deep, carved out by locals and explorers over the years of traversing the rain forest. 1700 meters of navigating up through this will guarantee you a few sore muscles and it's worth every bit of the challenge.
