Photographer’s Note

The Scott Arms in Kingston, Dorset, is completely covered by ivy in the Summer. In the Autumn the leaves go bright red before leaving its skeleton to cling to the walls over the Winter.

(Apologies for the poor photo quality. The shot was taken in haste to avoid an approaching strong of heavy traffic and I have struggled to get it any better.)

apologies are not required, this is indeed a lovely picture, not only are the walls covered in ivy but also the roof it must look fantastic in the autumn when the leaves turn red, well spotted and TFS.
