Photographer’s Note
Detail from a closed down factory that used to process soft drink bottles and add carbonic acid to them.
Just like the previous posting I experimented here with exposuring of the negative film.
Instead of f/5,6 and 1/100s shutter time (hand held) I used a tripod, adjusted aperture accordingly to expose the subject for 1 sec.
Not really sure if this kind of experiment works with a digital camera, but the results with negative film are simply stunning. Colours tend to come out more contrast rich with these kind of long exposurings (see also my comment related to the previous posting).

Another great combination of rust and (stencil)letters – and blue and white tones. Nice pattern of rust, too.
Yes, the result is very beautiful...

I like it very much Edwin!
Very sharp and colorful, I know it's difficult to have a scanning like this!
Thanks for the very useful note!

This special postprocessing again, Edwin, is very interesting. The texture of the old blue paind is very interesting, same as the yellow letters and the smaall spots of rust. A very interesting shot and technique.

I believe the experiment worked quite well. The deep colors, the hard contrasts and the clear textures create an appealing image. Togheter with the letters you've got a great (decaying) graphical image.
