Photographer’s Note

The old part of Kotor town is under the protection of Unesco. The only allowed transportion is bike or feed. The old part of Kotor has a wall that goes all the way around town. Part of this wall is on a mountain side. This picture is taken on the way up, the way up is hard when the sun burning. And no I didn´t meet any people on bikes :-)

Stunning shot. I like it very much. If I could think of any way to improve it I would say that shots through arches being somewhat cliche can benefit greatly from a foreground subject to enliven them and set them apart from others. For example, a local person (not dressed like a tourist) climbing the path and just about at the arch seems like it would add that bit of life.
