Photographer’s Note
This is not a great shot, just a minimalist exercise. An alternate wallpaper for a well known operating system. When I saw this landscape, I immediately thought, I have to XP_erience it with a polarizer.

This as wallpaper is better than other one most famous. Your colours are beautiful. In this case I think the sky needn't cropping.

Your excercise really turned out great here, Carlos. You show us here that by providing less indformation you create more atmosphere and a delightful tension.
I like how the boundary in the field leads us to the houses, by only portraying the roofs you apply the same substraction technique as you use on the compo as a whole. Nice!
The great luminosity and lush saturation help to makes this a wallpaper masterpiece. I wished Blll Gates had use your striking art work.
I like this a lot, excellent work!!

: excellente !

MS Windows goes to town? But the big open sky is great here and the triangular green surfaces is a fine element. The two roofs are nice deatails that adds that little extra something.

The minimalist does not prevent Carlos quality.I like much this catch of sight with this green diagonal which carries us towards a village.
Very well done.

It would indeed make a fine wallpaper, Carlos. Just a touch of the green Vaud landscape this time, but this kind of minimalist composition is well chosen with the big sky above, and the roofs (I actually count three of them, two red ones and a brown one in the bottom right corner). Very good colors, great capture.

Joli coup d'oeil, Carlos !

My first impression too much sky - but after a second look can I see the wonderfull shift from light to deep blue - and the two green nuances as complement - Yes surely a perfect alternative wallpaper.
Thanks for sharing Carlos - and yes the two red roofs add extra. :-)

It is a very nice photo. The line across the screen. The great colors. The sky. The grasses are well rendered. And I like the houses peaking up over the horizon. The low clouds really give a nice perspective into the distance, too. Very nicely done.

It is a good picture. The minimalist approach is indeed very refreshing a sthe blue dominates the frame.

Hi Carlos, I'm really impressed how you can make the sky so smooth. Your landscape photos are becoming "simpler" in composition but remain equally beautiful. The diagonal lines in your photos are also a strong point. The slope of the hill is extended by the tree lines, creating a nice composition

Bien belle photo encore ! Encore bravo !

I know only one who can make such a nice picture with so little elements, and that's you, Carlos. You've down a great job, composition is fantastic, adn the colors are very fine.
BTW, I count three roofs, you teach me how to take pictures like this, I'll teach you how to count. ;-)

Everything that can be saud has already been said, but this is a n excellent minimalist picture. It looks like all the lines lead to the two roofs. Very good composition, Carlos.

Very nice image! Indeed a XP one... ;-)
The colors are great as well the composition. Due to the intensity of the colors and textures in the bottom the sky doesn't unbalance the image as expected. The gradient in the blue tones in the sky also helps to prevent the monotony.
the details of the roofs are well seen.
