In an isolated and small Alaskan town where no one needs a car you might find a different definition for a street. Yes the stairs are actually the road, as is the path going horizontally in the background.

well...I have definitely learned something new about the world with this photo LOL. All kidding aside, you really have done a fine job with this image. The composition is quite nice for such a crowded and cluttered area and the black and white really adds to the rural, backwards, small town vibe.

Hello Ross,
indeed, this is a special photo. I know the "One Way" as a centre for religious (christian) youths. We`ve got one in our little town and I went there a lot when I was younger...
So this photo brings back good memories :)
